Customers at Advance Auto Parts stores purchase service and parts with equal frequency, according to TickerMine's latest poll. Forty-seven percent of stores polled said their customers usually purchase parts, and another 47% said their customers purchase mostly services. Fifty-six percent of Advance Auto Parts stores surveyed said they offer both service and parts, while 44% offer parts only. Twelve percent of stores said they're busier now than last year; 88% said their level of business is about the same as it was a year ago. Oil changes and tune-ups are the most popular purchases for 44% of stores polled. Batteries, transmissions, and drivetrain parts were also popular, and were each best sellers for nine percent of stores.
