AEA - Advance America Cash Advance Centers Continue To Report The Average Loan Size As Between $100-$300

Fifty percent of the Advance America Cash Advance Centers continue to report the average loan size as between $100-$300. Of the twenty-two stores surveyed by Tickermine, eight (36%) reported average loans of $350-$500 and three (14%) reported loans above $1000. Four stores (18%) considered April their busiest month and fifteen stores (68%) reported that they are busier now than one year ago. When asked whether they loan to self-employed people, twenty stores (91%) answered yes. Maximum loan amounts were reported as $500 or less by ten stores (45%). Six (27%) stated that amounts vary depending upon income. Five stores (23%) reported maximum loan amount between $1000 - $5000.
