AEA - Business Up At 87% of Advance America, Cash Advance Centers

Tickermine recently surveyed 30 Advance America, Cash Advance Centers (AEA) outlets across the US. 87% reported that business was up over last year, yet just 13% of respondents felt that March is their busiest month—most respondents cited December as busiest. Approximately 57% reported an average loan size under $300, while 23% said their average loan is between $300 and $500. 37% of those polled have a maximum loan between $251 and $500, while 33% will loan a max between $1k and $1.5k. An additional 20% reported that the maximum loan depends on the individual’s income and other qualifications. Nearly 63% will loan to self-employed individuals.
