BJRI - Only 13% of BJ's Restaurants Folk Say Customers Like their Prices

BJ’s Restaurant & Brewery was profiled this week. We asked whether lunch or dinners were busiest, which menu item sells best, what customer traffic is like and how much people spend? We consulted 24 restaurants and found that 38% quoted lunch as the busiest shift and 62% quoted dinner. 96% of those interviewed said their restaurant was older than a year and only 4% said theirs was new. 67% of those interviewed said it was a menu that attracted their clientele. 13% said it was the prices and 21% thought it was the atmosphere. 42% said their customers spend between $32-$45 per couple, 38% said it was more likely $20-$30 per couple and 21% said they saw bills for $50-$60. 33% said the most popular menu item was their Balsamic Grilled Chicken. Another 33% thought it was the Barbecue Chicken Pizza and 13% said it was the Halibut Fish tacos. And something must be going right, because 38% said their business was the same as a year ago, 33% reported business was up and only 8% said it was flat.
