CPKI - California Pizza Kitchen’s Business Is Strong; Barbecue Chicken Pizza Is a Favorite
Tickermine polled California Pizza Kitchen employees at locations nationwide for this poll. The majority (62%) were busier at dinner. The average check size was between $20 and $35. Of employees polled, 41% felt that customers came for the menu and 35% for the atmosphere. By far the most popular menu item was the Original Barbecue Chicken Pizza, with 29% of the responses. Respondents felt that sales were strong; 44% of the restaurants reported being busier than last year and 38% were the same.
